17th Judicial District Attorney's Office Files First-Degree Murder Charge Against Victor Salazar-Guarache

Brighton, CO —Today, the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office is announcing the filing of a First-Degree Murder charge against Victor Salazar-Guarache, 26, related to the fatal shooting death of Bryce Holden, 22, outside of the Top Golf location in Thornton on December 23, 2023. 

Salazar-Guarache is charged with:  
  • First-Degree Murder (F1)
  • First-Degree Attempted Murder (F2) (2 Counts)
  • Sentence Enhancer: Crime of Violence
Case number 2023CR003973 was filed in Adams County District Court. Salazar-Guarache's next court appearance is on January 2, 2024, at 8:30am in Courtroom E. 

The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual(s) committed a crime(s) under Colorado laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo RPC 3.6.
